Hi James.
Yes, agree, badging is just personal preference. Actually, I think the Kleemann badging on a larger car like yours will look better than a smallish SLK?
The Kleemann certified shop doing the install is CT Motorsports: http://www.ct-motorsport.com/index.p...tpage&Itemid=1
Hi Tracy. Sure. You can give me a buzz anytime.

hey jam i talked to tony's bro joe and he said the b55 kit is insanely fast. normally aspirated and goes like hell. i think brabus gave him an authentic letter detailing what was done. i know the badges were put on and the normal red painting took place however i am at a loss of the details of what they exactly did. i believe it was dynoes at brabus as well. when i get the numbers i will post them.
all i know is it is fast and was running against some vettes on the way back from brabus.

That sounds like another beast. Anyway you can fax me, PM or e-mail me that letter? Very interested on what kind of upgrades they did to his car and maybe compare some notes. Does he already have some dyno figures? Pls keep me posted.

Hi James.
The badging on the rear deck is OK, I'm just not a fan of the "K" replacing the MB star on the car - just me I guess.
Ya know, apparently putting this new exhaust system is a **** according to CT Motorsports (and Brandon @ Kleemann). A real tight fit I hear.
See ya,
-Matt

Hey Matt,
As far as the badging no worries. To each his own. And about your exhaust it'll definitely be worth it once it's done. Any dyno numbers yet? Sorry just getting too excited!

"Hi Matt,
Will not have any dyno result until sometime next week. One side header is
in, will get the other side in tomorrow. Slow but done. Very tight fit.
Kleemann's guy is great, it fit.
The header you have is the first batch of production, it is the big tube,
max horsepower version. The next production run, they are going to a
smaller tube to make installation easier.
Will report later. Back to work.
Regards
John"

well we visited simon and brad. they are doing an estimate for a limited slip and a kleeman sc for that b55 of tony's. if he gets one this thing will have the 1st of almost everything.
simon thinks he can get it to 500hp without doing the bottom end. i will be interested to see if this is true.

simon mentioned the limited slip but i am not sure who makes that. is it kleeman? i think its the same one vic is going to have installed. or maybe its the slk2006 versions. i kinda forget the details of that part of the convo at evo.

early nov. simon at evosport needs to order the charge but sema is coming. so tony has to wait til after sema. currently as confirmed by simon the b55 includes a cam change, lifter springs and air box mods. it should help the charger a lot.
tony was gonna have it dynoed today but we were test driving a porsche cab for his bro. maybe the dyno pull will happen tomorrow. if not it will wait right before the charger is installed.

While we're on the topic here, I don't want to start a new thread in the w220 forum, but how much hp you think the Kleeman s/c will give to a stock s430? Right now it puts down about 220-230 wheel hp, but think a kleeman will kick it around 350 whp?
