CF Interior Pics

Starting to look like you 030 guys. Left out the door handles as they look impossible to install by someone like me.

Rob, the CF was very easy to install. The door handles were easier than I thought - just slide them sideways and that's it! So all is installed now

silk32, the pieces were ordered from www.performanceproducts.com

Brabus steering wheel? It's really nice, I've played around with it. Feels great.

I wish Brabus made a CF center console like they did in this SLR. I wonder how it'd look in the SLK?

nice steering wheel

It looks beautiful ... how much is it? In my earlier comment I was remarking that you might switch to the steering wheel from the 030 package.

I wonder what the cost difference is between the 030 and the brabus. If its not much, definitely get the brabus.

I'm curious ... anyone else looking to do some major work on the interior of the SLK55? My only complaint about this car would be the lack of finer materials.

Just to give you a idea...

If the SLR and SLK wheels are the same, I have a Brabus SLR price list it's in German but you get the idea.

Mine are stopping off at AMG Manufaktur to get the complete leather treatment (incl alcantar pillar and roof lining) and wood wherever the leather isn't. I'm also considering contrast stitching (just for the halibut).
I'm ordering 030 and just couldn't deal with the CF (LOL...dif'rent strokes for...).

and I think that the Brabus wheel is nicer than the others available if you want the alcantara panels; otherwise go with this guy ($$$):

http://www.rau-autowood.com/home.htm

his stuff is absof^&#@inglutely, unbelievably gorgeous -- and he does a great CF wheel.

How are the quality of the parts you ordered from performance products in comparison to originals? How is the fit? I think I may order this too.

These are the originals. MP Designs supplies the parts to AMG.
