Trade 03 SL 500 for a new SLK 55??

Trade 03 SL 500 for a new SLK 55??
my wife currently drives a 03 SL 500, i've been thinking bout possibly trading in the SL for a SLK 55..................all opinions welcome

what does SHE want
depends on what she is looking for ... I chose the SLK55 because of the fun factor ... but it definitely is not a grand cruiser like a SL500.

Hmmmmmm..... If she wants a sportscar. If she's willing to have a smaller trunk. If she wants a folding hardtop (is your 03 SL500 with folding hardtop?), then maybe, yes.
It is a bit of a trade down, really. On the other hand the SLK55 would be a new car, right? There is always that new car, wow, factor.
I'd say just happen to drive by a dealership (where you have already predetermined that there is an SLK55 and you've already touched-base with them on a test drive) and ask her if she's "in the mood to take a minute to check something out"..... If she does the test drive and answers affirmatively to the "did you like it sweetie" question go from there.....
