recalls/problems fixed
maybe we can make this a sticky.
What warranty/recalls have been done on your slk so far?
so far this has whats been done to my 06 slk55:
leaky valve cover casket - (leaking oil)
center driver side speaker - (crackling sound)
2x rotors,2x calipers - (squeaking sound at 5mph or less) dealership replaced both with 030 package rotors/calipers. my slk is a non-030 package

2006 SLK55 AMG
my first SLK55's (silver) transmission blew after 2,200 miles. although I was staying below 4,000 rpm and never going nuts in it. that was the worst thing ever. I got so mad and wanted my money back - unless they made an effort to please me. It would've taken them 2 months to fix it because they didnt have the new transmission in stock. I'd be carless for 2months and back in germany for the winter break. So they gave me this black SLK.

Mine has done 3000 miles
1 Mid consil speakers distorting
2 Power steering pump broke
3 Front fog lamp broke Vandelism!
4 new set off back tyres NB not mrcs fault driver might have something to do with accesive rear tyre wear

2006 SLK55 AMG
New COMAND system for me. It would constantly shut off when using the navigation system and listening to the CD changer. They replaced a relay the first time and then finally replaced the COMAND system. All has been good since.
