Hey, my SLK is famous!
I thought you might find this funny - me & the wife sure did.

I was checking out my weekly Autoweek tonight (Oct 30 edition) & in the back (last page) is a pic of my driver's side mirror with, "Objects in mirror appear to be losing" (my brother gave it to me as a gag gift so I afixed one to my RX7 & SLK).

I came out of a hobby shop ~2 months ago & a guy was taking pics of the SLK. I spoke to him for a few minutes as he was really interested in the car & wanted me to pop the hood, etc. Nice fella - guess he really DID like the car - he sent one of his pics to Autoweek & they used it. Ahhh, my "15 minutes of fame"....I must bask in my newfound stardom.

The Autoweek pic pretty much sucks but you can still see it.
