I like the license plate...BLOWS.

I really like that porsche... except the interior and that huge *** spoiler on the back...weren't there different spoilers that you could have picked? It cuts the look of the smoothness above the rear wheel fenders.

I have an SLK 55 AMG. And if I had your car black on black, with those tints and wheels... I wouldn't trade for the SLK 55 AMG. The red is not bad...but this is going to be hard to trade...with a dealership? No. But with an individual? Yes.

I wouldn't trade my SLK 55 AMG for that. Even with a price that high and a car so old (TEN YEARS). But nice milage (30,000) for ten years.

WOW! Everyone is entitled to an opinion.
Well, at least you like the license plate

This Twin Turbo is in PRISTINE Condition.

FYI- Yes, the "huge *** spoiler" aka PORSCHE Whale's Tail is factory original for the wide-body Turbo. NO, there were no other "choices" other than the Turbo "S" that had a slightly different look.

Don't listen to Deuce, he apparently does not know the value of a 993TT. Beautiful car man, I supposed you've just had it too long and you want something new, but for me, I'd never let that thing go. You've got a piece of history.

First replies are always interesting!

I agree, it's not possible to debate with someone that is not informed.
I was tempted to try and educate him but I don't have that much time!

Thanks for your comments on the PORSCHE.
You, Sir, are well informed.

LOL!
I have been called worse.
Actually I see quite a few SLK's in a day, especially where I live.
I have owned a number of 170 SLK's and SL's myself including 2 SLK32's and an SL55.
My wife drives an SLK now, so all I have to do is look on the driveway and I see hers.

The PORSCHE 993TT is a fantastic car.
But as you can see by the miles I don't really drive it enough.
I want a new SLK55 to drive daily.

Hey that is an AMAZING car, too bad I don't have the money/trade for it I love Porsche's however the new ones are so ubiquitous, at least in my neighborhood. That is why if I were getting one I would get yours. The wide-body porsche turbo is second in my book to the one and only (factory version soley) the 930S

P.S. if you don't know what I am talking about here is the 930 S cab :

I didn't say I hate the Porshce, I said I didn't like the color combo,,, is it that hard to figure out when I say I prefer black on black. His car is Grey on Red...not my style...so I was telling him it would be hard to trade his car because of that color combo...black on black sells faster.

What is wrong with you guys...of course I would take that car...in a different color.

That is my favorite porsche body style...I love that body style more than the current body style.

This is my quote below
And if I had your car black on black, with those tints and wheels... I wouldn't trade for the SLK 55 AMG.
I said this because if I had a black on black Porsche 993TT, then I would never think about getting a SLK 55 AMG............

I don't understand you guys....how does that say I hate the car.... I prefer that car more than the SLK 55 AMG....I was just talking about the color....,,,,,read the post carefully next time.

But then I also like the fact that my SLK 55 AMG is new and that I am the first owner.

Agreed.
Keep the mods in the mainstream or the vehicle will have very limited appeal and resale value.
WICKED generally mods vehicles that have sustained damage.

Is it just me... or do others believe there is such a thing as TOO MUCH LIP on wheels?

Seriously, that has like 7 inches of lip. I'm okay to about 3 inches, anything more takes away from the sportiness of the vehicle. IMO

I agree, the lip is a bit massive, but I feel the look of the car from behind more than makes up for it. The car is SO wide and I like it looks amazing, but inherent with a wide boy kit is the need to have rims with a deep lip. I guess it is a trade off.
