They only know part number and they have no idea about description

Those appear to be completely different from the stock paddles on the 07 cars. I really want to retro fit the bigger 07 style paddles on my car, so if someone can locate a part number and a vendor for them, that would be great !

chrislk55: you can't just purchase the shift paddels you have to buy then entire steering wheel minus the air bag

the wheel with the black paddle shifters on ebay are standard ones (07)...the aluminum ones are to be found on 07 AMGs...for the SLK you should be able to order te aluminum paddle shifters separately as an AMG Manufaktur item...just the set of paddle shifters cost 400 euro (500USD) from AMG Manufaktur.
