Have you guys seen the new SLR convertible?

It looks hoooot =)
Too bad it's not a hardtop convertible like our SLK's (or SL's), but it looks really nice with the top down, and that's how I drive my SLK 95% of the time anyway![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Wish I could win the lottery

The Pontiac won't be quite as fast as the SLR tho'...
The center console is now in CF on the 722... I don't mind it being plastic, it feels ok to the touch and looks nice *shrug*

SLR is probably the worst supercar on the market, its not worth anywhere near its price tag. Pretty much every review I've read bashed it to bits... even the new 722 SLR got 3/5 stars in EVO this month! The problem is that its trying to be both a GT that Paris Hilton can drive and a real supercar for driving enthusiasts... unfortunately it doesn't succeed in either category

I've read plenty of reviews that were positive.
The only two critizisms it has consistently received, is the on/off brake feel, and the fact that it has an automatic gearbox. Neither are of great concern to me.
Some reviews that pitted it against the Porsche Carrera GT, even had the SLR win on the track.
But to each their own. It's a pretty heavy "supercar", and an automatic gearbox is not to everyones taste. I personally love the styling, both inside and out, but I'll reserve judgment on the rest until I've driven one.

Zonda is badass, I've sat in a few, Geneva has an official Zonda dealership. The full CF one is gorgeous. Wish I could drive one...
