I'm not here to debate the cars worth. The car would not be considered anything but "excellent". With the options it has, mileage, etc. KBB books it at $44,095 (fair) to $49,860 (excellent). I just checked their site as I typed this. There is no adder for the CPO 100K factory warranty, but that obviously is worth something (cost was 4K). It may not go for 52K, but it isn't going for 46K either. I can get 45K on trade for a ML63 at 2K over invoice, but we aren't looking to jump right into another new MB right now. If you want to make an offer, that should give you an idea of where we need to be.

I think that it fair at around $47K for a 2005. Mercedes Benz of San Diego has a CPO 2006 Slk 55 w'16K miles and loaded for $49K. The problem is, it black color. Btw, since your is a 2005 model, do you get free service like oil change for 4/50k miles?

Not at all pissed off, I didn't intend to sound that way. I just do not intend to debate what the car is worth, and the value you suggest is for a car in "good" not "excellent" condition. Personally, any car that isn't "excellent" (especially a MB) after only 13K miles and being 2 years old says to me, RUN, don't walk away. Free service ended on the '04's. It just had service "E" (at $650.00) and needs nothing. There are zero differences between the 2005 and 2006 cars. I'm sure the '06 does not have 4K+ in tires and wheels, and 3K+ in Brabus suspension work, although that really doesn't do a thing for the value of the car.

OK, that's cool. Here's another Slk 55 for sale for more then 3 months now and no taker. It now drop to $46K because the dealer are only giving him $40-$42K for trade-in. I don't think he's going to be able to sell it here unless I want it. Maybe you can help him out by giving him the dealer name that give you $45K on your trade-in. Man, AMG car are suck to sell. I just sold my 01' CL 55 for only $29K (the price of a Honda Accord !!!). Good luck selling your my friend. If you decide to trade it in, please let me buy it from you for $46K.

FYI, MB dealer in CT offered me $37k as trade in on my 05 SLK 55 with 14k miles, blk with blk/red interior. And this was the dealer I bought the car from. Needless to say, I walked out.

Yes, but I'm currently is working on this 2 cars right now. Both would take an offer of $45K. I just missed the other car for sale on this forum. That was a good deal for $45K and he was local.
