problems
You should definitely do a search before asking such basic questions, there are a lot of threads on this already. Of course people are going to have some problems with their SLK55, its just like any other high performance german automobile. Reliability-wise, its about the same as all other AMG models and there is no single widespread probem.. its mainly just stupid electronic stuff that go wrong.

I agree. There were a few somewhat widespread (but generally not major) problems with many of the early SLK55's, and it seemed to take Mercedes/AMG about a year to get it all sorted out. More recently built cars seem to be much better, about the same number of issues as other high performance German cars. But if owning an exceptionally troublefree car is important to you, I really can't think of ANY German car that would be high on my list

They said amg told them it might be my cell phone stalling the car. They changed the crank sensor twice, fuel computer, mass flow sensor, fuel pump relay and if still keeps stalling. I'm in Canada so maybe thats why they can't figer out the problem....lol

If the dealer is unable to fix your problems, you should try to invoke the "Lemon" laws in your State.
If the car is stalling and Comand shuts off, there's a problem with the car.
This is an INACCEPTABLE reply from your dealer. This kind of a reply is INACCEPTABLE in ANY situation.
Write to MB and tell them your local dealer cannot fix the problem and also tell them about the reply you received from them.
I would be fired from my job if someone had a computer that had faults, and I was unable to fix it and then resorted to saying that "There's no problem because I can't find a way to fix it" (I work in IT). That's just outright stupid and taking you (the client) for an idiot. Don't let them do this to you. You're the client, you paid a lot of money for this car, the dealer is bound by contract to provide a product which works to your satisfaction. Lemon law or not, this is universal customer service we're talking about here.
This is not comming from the dealership, it comming from MB Canada's head office. There "top" tecs say there is nothing wrong with the car because the can't duplcate the problem. So I guess its court for me...lol

Are they stupid? "There's nothing wrong with the car" because THEY can't find a problem?
