Amen. My dad never considered buying a nice car, appreciated them but thought they were a waste of money. I made him test drive a C43 AMG a long time ago and the rest is history. It's mine now.

Our ML did 205,000km for 8 years and it was perfectly fine when we traded in, believe it or not but my uncle has a early 60's 280 SL that still drives like a charm and he is the first owner. They keep improving over the years and they still have their general characteristics ie such as "heavy steering feel", idle noise in the heat etc.
