These have to be the most uncomfortable seats ever. I am 5' 11" and have tried every position available to try and get comfortable on any driving over a short commute. I love the car!!! F**k my *** hurts after any longer drives. Anyone else have this problem or a solution...

I love the seats .. one of the most comfortable/supportive seats I've had.

Agreed. The seats are comfortable - even more so w/airscarf blowing warm air on your neck on a cool evening with the top down.Originally Posted by SLK55R

+3 I love the seats! I could understand if you were pushing 6'5 then you would be cramped but I think its comfortable as hell!!! Originally Posted by Yellow R1

The only thing I didn't like about the seats is that they don't recline enough, other than that, I thought they were pretty good.

Sorry to say I agree with you. The seats on my Audi TT are way more supportive/ comfortable.

The seats feel uncomfortable for the first 2 months then you will get used to it. You had a car with softer seats before probably. I also have a CLK 55, when i drive it after driving my SLK55 it feels like I am in a Rolls Royce.

i think it depends alot on your frame size. I find them Ok but can imagine some having a problem then again I thought Lotus seats were comfortable

I'm 6'2 260 lbs. and I don't find them that bad. I drove a round trip from New Jersey to Michigan (10 hours each way) with no ill effects. Sure they are not the most comfortable seats, but that's not the nature of the car. And the seats are certainly more comfortable than my girlfriend's Lotus Elise :-)

Quiet comfy, I like the shape. I wish they looked sportier like the C63's.

Not as comfortable as the seats in my S, but not many car seats can compare to those.
As far as a small roadster, these seats are just fine & I am 6'1"
Even after getting used to the seats in the S, I have no complaints about the SLK 55's seats & I have had the car for over three years now
