Thank you! My family has a Mercedes Benz repair and body shop so one of the technicians did it. It was fairly easy (for them, of course!). You have to take the old diffuser off and install this one by bolting it on, I believe. It's not one of those glue on and go type.

Damn, looks nice and aggressive! What was the cost if you don't mind me asking. I believe the stock black piece is glued onto the bumper from what i was told (very hard to take off).

that does look good. the only other diffuser i was considering was the one from chrometec.
it looks like that one, but comes in carbon. its 999 Euro
the non-carbon version is 529 euro.

xpl0sive, I love the carbon diffuser you posted!! I was initially looking for a CF diffuser but had no luck finding one...but the one you posted is perfect! Wish I saw it earlier...haha

IIIMBPIII, yes I do recommend it, although they do charge an arm and a leg for shipping to the states. The quality of the diffuser is great though (but comes unpainted).

You said that you had your shop install it for you. Is this something that I could do myself or would I need a shop to do it for me? I have been in contact with the company they have a CF version though its not on the site they sent me some pics via email. It looks great but the only thing I dont like about it is how you install it they say you cut the old diffuser and attach it to it or something. It doesnt seem like thats a great idea IDK though it could work out great. I am thinking of ordering it though!

Depending on your experience, you might be able to install it yourself. It does come with instructions. Yeah, you're right, you do have to cut the old diffuser and attach the new one. I liked how it wasn't the basic glue-on, though. I didn't know they had a CF version! Wish they would have told me. Oh well, I'm still diggin mine haha I think either route you go (CKS or Chrometec), it'll look amazing!

NasimDaDream could you maybe explain the installation further? The word "cutting" has me worried I dont want to screw my rear bumper up BUT I really like the look of the diffuser and it would complete the look of my car! Thanks!

Now this CF diffuser grabbed my attention! I really like how they both stick out a little. I also dig the chrome grill in the middle and how it contrast with the chrome tips and silver paint!

Has anyone else pulled the trigger on this rear diffuser?
I found the same style CF rear diffuser for my SL55 from Chrome-tec. I'm getting them for both my SLK 55 and SL55!

I got those diffuser, cut the oem bumper, painted and installed it myself. It alot of works. It came with just glue. There's no way the glue would hold. I decided to used screws instead. But first, I have to re-enforced the diffuser with JB Weld so I can drill holes for the screws. The diffuser exhuast tip opener not line up with the muffler tips. I have to enlarges the exhaust tip opener then re-adjust the mufflers hanger to get it fit perfect. It best to leave it to the shop.
