MBH SLK55 Long Tube Headers Coming soon

This will most likely be the last car in the 55 lineup that we build long tube headers for. Finish date is expected in two weeks. stay tuned.

Just being a quess, I would say 40whp. SL500's make 30whp. 55k's make about 48-50whp

Glad to hear! This is the one mod that really wakes up the SLK 55.

Looking forward to the results. Staying tuned!

SLK55 LTH dyno results

We just finished up and the results are good for a N/A 55. On our dyno (dyno-dynamics) we gained 31whp and about 25wtq. This is with nothing else done. Just our header on it. This car has stock air-filters, stock software, stock everything, except headers.

Awesome gains for LTH only with stock software!

Does your LTH delete both primary and secondary cats? Pics please!

The only delete the primary cats. secondary cats are intact. Let me see what I have on my phone for pics, I know there are pics on the digital camera, but I don't have that with me. Then basically look like the E55 headers, but a litt more elongated and with a collector under the chassis. I thought they were one of the best looking headers for the 55 we've made yet.... But that just me.

Cool, thanks!

Replacing the secondary cats with Dyno-Comp High Flow Cats and getting your software should bring it right to 400hp from 355hp. Not bad for exhaust mods!

I visited your website and the LTH are reasonably priced right compared to what's out there. Job well done bro!

AMG
excellent job hooley ... very good numbers for just headers & primary cat delete ... seems like the stock software handles the headers with ease. Very strong numbers indeed.

keep up the great work

Those LTH look beefy! No doubt they perform. Great product for the SLK55!

If they would respond to my contact via their website they might actually sell some as well.

What website are you talking about mine or Dyno-Comps? MBHmotorsports.com isn't really up and running its only in a test phase. However I'm here so feel free to ask me any questions or PM me.

Tried PM never replied so settled for AMS who in contrast gave a great response. I realise the headers are not as good but they are also much lower price point so service and respect won the day.

I haven't gotten any PM... It might have been in my inbox when I deleted my currant PM's thinking I was deleting old ones. However I like AMS alot. They are good guys. I'm sure you will be happy with their stuff. I was a customer of theirs too. I'm sorry I was unable to get back to you. I try to reply to every PM I get.

I think right around our other 55 headers. They do have some more material in the them than others, due to the way the SLK55 is made.

OK thanks for the reply. Your headers are the nicest I have seen and speak for themselves.
