POWERCHIP GROUPBUY - Let's get in on this ASAP!!
What's up guys...I missed the GB last month on this so I contacted Matt Bekam, VP of Operations over at Powerchip Group, Inc and he told me that to get the $350 price, we have to get at least 10 people in on it. I'm in, so that's only 9 needed to get this done.

Here's some more info from Matt Bekam:
We tune every model benz you can think of but the $350 price will only be for the cars with V6's and 4cylinders. Basically the 300's, 350's, 230's, etc.
For the 500 and 550 benz's we normally charge $990, but we'll do those for $500 to help you fill up that list.

I have a few newb questions about a Powerchip tune for a 55AMG N/A motor:
1) I'm assuming the cars are individually tuned on a dyno?
2) Will the tune affect our cars when they get smogged? In other words, can it be detected as illegal?
3) Does it remove the top speed limiter?
4) Are there any down sides to doing this? ie: engine wear, running too rich or lean
5) Is this offer only available in Southern California?

Yes we do remove the speed limiter, so your car will reach its "natural" top speed. The tune is not detectable by a dealership and therefor your warranty will remain in tact. We have never had any customers fail smog due to an ecu upgrade.
The NA 55 engine is often overlooked as the red headed step child because they don't have the supercharger attached. That doesn't mean there isn't power to be had on the NA version, they are very impressive cars from the factory and within the compact chasis of the R171, truly can be a beast with the help of a software upgrade.
We see a 15-20hp gain on the NA 55 engine, and have a 14 day moneyback guarantee. If you for any reason aren't blown away by the PC upgrade, we can simply return you to stock and refund you the purchase price ($500 for the remainder of the group buy time limit) minus any shipping fees.
For better throttle response, more power and a low price there isn't much out there that you can do to make a comparable difference in your cars performance.
