I wouldn't say that all SLK's rattle and creak. I have no rattles and I'm amazed of how quite the ride is, just like with my SL55. The top just started to creak a bit though when entering driveways with an uneven surface.

Is your car lowered? If not, how does 19" wheel look? Based on the picture, the ride height look the same on both 18" and 19" wheels.

No, it's not lowered. The P030 is about a .5" lower than the standard SLK55 though. My 19" tires are about .5" taller than my 18" tires, so the ride height is slightly higher.

Thanks for the infos. That's good to know. Only .5" different, I think I'll put 19" on and stick with stock supsension because of the performance package.

Man......I'm take back everything I said about the stock wheel. I just pick up 09" Slk55 w'AMG performances package" and the wheel look beautifull in person on the car. Seriously, I don't want to change the wheel now at all. You're absolutely right, they're so masculine looking on the Slk55. I a bit surprised how stiff the ride with even 18" wheel. I can't imagine how bad the ride will be with 19".

Yeah, I ordered my 19" Brabus S wheels before I had even seen my SLK55 in person. When I picked it up I was amazed of how good the AMG wheels looked. They might be an older style but they're far from being out dated.
Yes, the 19" wheels create a stiffer ride which makes it handle better in the turns.
