Very excited folks, just got done reading an e-mail from Marcus Benz, he placed the order for my car today(Finally) on the Netstar system. He tells me the car is scheduled for a build in the last 10 days of August with a early October delivery to dealer. Off topic though I hear the LA dockworkers are about to strike I am imaging my car sitting on a boat unable to be delivered.... Wolf

Well by October the strike should be over anyway, right? Guess Mercedes could just unload the cars in Houston if that is the case as they have a VPC there and the delivery boat stops there enroute to LA anyway.

Was Marcus able to give you prices on base car and individual options and option packages? IF not, when did he suggest prices would be released?

No actual price yet, but were estimating $65,000 ish MSRP with options I ordered and based on the price of the C55 just released I see no reason for the estimate to be high or low. Wolf

it will cost around this price, mine was 74,241 with every single option.. 1 missing option is the home link garage opener, at the time of the order it wasnt available.....

SLK55 are you in the US? How did you get a price they have not been released yet, at least thats what I have been told.
