Ok, these are my finals:
Iridium Silver
Red/Black Interior
319 Lighting Package
320 Entertainment Package
326 Premium Package
Car has a decade build of 091
I should be in it in October!
Anyone else order their 55? If so, what options/colors?

I have one ordered since Nov. 03 but my dealer haven't call me yet.
Mine/GF will be Iridium Silver with Red/Black Interior also...
Bi-Xenon-standard???
Nav
Remote Hook Opener???
Heated Seat
Memory Seat-standard???
Thats all I can think of

Vivianlove, when you say you ordered the 55AMG SLK Nov 03 - I assume you mean you put a deposit down ? I would check with your dealer - they should have called you by now. THe car isn't 'ordered' until it's entered in the system which he wouldn't have been able to do until about 3 weeks ago. At the least, they should call you to let you know / check on the options you want !!!
The US Spec SLK 55 AMG does come with 8-way power seats w/ memroy standard, as well as heated seats and remote boot opener.
It does NOT come with Nav or Xenon - both are extra options (there are 2 different Nav systems you can order, one is DVD / map based, the other is CD and onlyu provides arrows and speech etc, on a smaller screen).
Still haven't released prices, but one can orientate themselve on the German prices a bit, though the Euro is very strong (or the Dollar very weak) right now, which might hurt US purchasers.
Oh, yeah, ordered mine with 319, 320, 326 and 403.
I drove a Teluride Silber (I think that's Diamond in the US ?!) for a few days last month in Germany, I liked that colour a lot, but Iridium has won out for me as well, all black inside.

PS Dinko - I'll be curious if they give you a hard time IN CASE the car make it before the official US release date of November 4th. In theory they aren't allowed to sell before then though I would assume a dealer that has custom-ordered a car for customer wants it off their lot ASAP ;-) Let's hope.
Let's also hope they don't continue to strike in Bremen....

I've had a deposit down since January at Mercedes Benz of Orlando.
Later in March, a new dealership opened up closer to my home, so I transfered to that. (MB of South Orlando)
Yesterday & Today I just went in to build my car.
Why no Airscarf?
I believe it's a joke, and for those of you who don't know, I live in beautiful Florida. Another thing I take in mind is this: All the dust that can get in there, is not something I'd like to clean, and what if for some reason I drop something in the vents? Now that wouldn't be pleasing, would it?
Well, what is the build decade on your car dosers?
Later in March, a new dealership opened up closer to my home, so I transfered to that. (MB of South Orlando)
Yesterday & Today I just went in to build my car.

I have yet to see one in action or on a car, safe for pictures. I figures, what the heck. And the nights can get chilly in LA. But, do I think it's really all that essential ?! Not really :-)
I am curious about my date as well.
Are you saying that your date showed up the second the dealer 'hit enter' ? Netstar usually take a few days to have MB assing a production decade. As I said, I'll have to call him today to check. I doubt he checked since he put the order in, but I'll let you know.

Keep me informed, because, to be honest with you dosers, I use you as my source when I speak to my dealer.
Ex: "A friend of mine just put his order in Netstar, Can I do it too?"
So, lets work together and race to see who will get the car first
Just for the hell of it, we will be waiting anyway, right?

I was test driving a slk 200 the other day. pretty nice, but no power. The air scarf function is pretty darn cool. I am going to get it for sure. I ordered my car, metalic blk, with red/black interior with a bunch of options, pretty much fully loaded w/o nav and no phone because there is no nav CD/DVDs here.

There is a remote garade door opener and the remote boot (trunk). Not sure otherwise. THe Hood is opened manually.
Talked to my dealer and I don't have a date yet. THe order is in netstar, but no PO has been assigned yet. Not sure if the PO comes after the build-decade or exactly what order netstar goes by. It's in there however. Hmm. Well, we'll see in a couple of days I guess. From Mark I understand that it's quite normal to enter a build request into netstar, then get the date and then get a PO. Then again, I'm not a dealer ;-)
