911 TT is more like very low 12's but a great run. Post your time slip when you get chance.

This was at OSW, don't remember the exact Temp, but it was cold I'm sure the temp was only a couple degrees different from where you are on 2/18.

BlackC230: I don't go in the water. I simply turn ESP off and spin the tires for about 3 - 5 seconds. This run, however, I forgot to turn ESP back on! And I noticed about three tenths of a second quicker times than with ESP on. The car was kept at about 1k / 1.2k RPM, and I eased on the throttle.

AMG SLK55: Thanks

Wow...next time you're going to Bithlo lemme know haha. I'd absolutely LOVE to see you tear apart those ricers First and last time I went, I ran against a WRX and an older Mustang 5.0; lost to both by less than a second, but the difference was a lot smaller with my huge r/t taken into account

That's awesome! I've been wondering what the real 0-60 and 1/4 miles times were for the SLK 55. A friend of mine works for one of the big auto magazines and they just did the road teat which will appear in an upcoming issue. He said it went 0-60 in 4.5. Which is about 3/10th's slower than the E55. Your 1/4 mile times are also within 3/10th's. I traded my 05 E55 for the SLK 55 and don't regret it one bit. The E55 was a speed demon but the brakes; steering, transmission and handling were not to my satisfaction. The SLK 55 is nearly as fast, without the kompressor and handles much more like a sports car.
