SLR/C199/R199/Z199: Parking Ticket
Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren - Blends Power and Luxury to the Hilt and Paris Hilton
Thanks to its V8 supercharged 5.5 liters 626 hp (460KW) engine, the SLR can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph (62.1 mph) in 3.8 seconds and achieves a top speed of 334 kph (207.5 mph). If parked incorrectly, it can also get you a parking ticket for $35.
Inspired by the legendary 300 SLR Coupé of the 1950s, the new Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren is the perfect blend of tradition and innovation on one hand, and luxury and raw power on the other. It’s a supercar made in limited numbers by F1 racing team McLaren at its Working headquarters, in partnership with Mercedes.

McLaren SLR's signature design feature is its gills, split into four segment with flowing lines that score back towards the rear of the car. They serve as air outlets and give expression to the passion within the car vouching for its sporting credentials.
As would be expected the McLaren SLR costs a whopping $500,000. And as would be expected, it is largely driven by celebrities. And (one more) as would be expected Paris Hilton has one!

Paris Hilton struggles to get out of her new $500,000 sports car while running errands in West Hollywood.
Paris Hilton, dressed in casual sports wear, big sunglasses and with her hair tied back, was recently seen running errands in West Hollywood driving her newly acquired McLaren SLR. She parked in a no parking zone and then with some effort managed to get out of the luxury sports car. Unfortunately, (for nobody) during her absence a policeman stuck a parking ticket on the car.

A traffic policeman tickets Paris Hilton's SLR McLaren.
On her return, the lady this time struggled to fit her shopping bags into the tiny space and eventually succeeded. As she drove off, and (this is the final) as would be expected, Paris Hilton didn't appear to take one bit of notice of the parking ticket stuck under the windshield wiper of her Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. But then again, she can probably afford the $35 fine.
