Best Color SLR I have seen to Date

Was looking at E-bay to see what kind of used SLR's were on the market and I came across this 2006 SLR. I am not even sure what color it is but that dark grey is fantastic. In silver and black the SLR just looks to plain and boring but this car is amazing.

I just got back from a MB track even where they let me drive an SLR for 10-12 laps at a local road course and ever since then I have been wishing for and SLR to come my way. Maybe one day ill have an SLR waiting for me every morning but not quite yet.

Here is a link to the car... what do you guys think of the color? I just love it but then again I love Tectite Grey on all MB's and this color is very close to that.

It is Palladium Grey.

One of the additional colors added for the My2006 SLR's.

And it is a great color on an SLR.

Thanks for yourthoughts...

Black cars are far to played out and a pain in the butt to keep looking clean and or nice. You wash a black car and it is covered in swirl marks even with NANO paint.

Haha, a little hasty. I love the look of the tail lights coupled with that color.

I notice on the window sticker a lack of significant (if any) dealer mark-up. I guess those cars aren't selling to well.

Enterprise rent-a-car!!!

I actually worked on that car. Did the alternator recall, brake squeek break in procedure and the first service.
The car was at the Auto gallery in Calabasas, and we do a lot of the Ferrari and Porsche work for them, being the only SLR certified indepent, I got the call.
The car looks great in that color, the closest regular MB color is Metallic Anthracite.
