New SLR $339,000
Prices still working their way toward "Reasonable Value". This eBay SLR has 104 miles on it so it looks like another one that a dealer dumped.

It has 104 miles on it. Probably a dealer giving up on selling it but can't move it through his own dealership due to price fixing agreements with other dealerships. Have you noticed the number of SLR's on eBay with really low miles on them, like 100 miles or so? I don't think they are coming from retail customers who put a few miles on them and dislike them enough to dump them for a big loss.

Yes, it is too bad. But that is how the MB dealers operate - the less the customer knows, the better position the MB dealer is in to profit.
The must be putting 100 miles on these cars and blowing them out for $300,000 or thereabouts!

When the clk 208 were first out you could buy one used for more than it cost new, due to the waiting list and the demand. The slr was a flop, it sad but true it is a beautiful car and can perform but not enough of either to justify the price tag.
