Looking for Black SLR $300k?
Anybody know if there are any black SLR's (used with mileage of course) that are going for around $300k?

Black seems to command a substantial premium over silver. There are quite a few silver cars for sale, while only 1 black i know of. Black/red is the hardest combo to come by. If youre serious, PM, and I will let you know what I have found or can get.

Yeah, I just got off the phone with the local MB dealer and he has a 2005 and 2006 black SLR he can get me, each with around 1,000 miles for the high 3's...I'm looking for about 3 flat. Allan, if you can hook me up let me know. Thanks a lot man. Interior doesn't matter, as long as the exterior is black (can be normal black, galaxy black, whatever)

Yes, you can buy Silver ones for in the low 300's. Black is more difficult to find. I had one, an 06 black/black with 400 miles that we were ready to write a check for, when another dealer purchased the car for 345K, and I was at 325.

Look at the auction prices, the black car sold at auction for 339. Then you pay fees on top of that. They will try retailing that for 380-400K. The prices of these cars have gone up since the dealers lost the 50K incentive.

Thank you guys very much for the help. My father is still searching for a car (getting much closer though). He is between going for a new Gallardo coupe, old Murcielago coupe, F430 coupe, or old SLR. They all have to be black and it has to be within driving distance of Westchester County, NY. Also, for the Lambos and Ferraris he prefers manual over e-gear/f1.
We think we found a good dealership that can help us, I will keep you guys updated.
BTW, I was at Manhattan Motorcars and they had a sick white Diablo with a license plate LOVE1IFE. Awesome car. They also had a very nice Superleggera, too bad it was yellow and e-gear. They had an F430 spyder with some miles on it going for $340,000
