A 2005 McMerc SLR for only $259K
. This economical crisis has really taken its toll on supercars. Its hard to believe that just a few years ago SLR'S were being sold for 1-2 mill. I guess soon I will be able to afford my favorite car.P.S, the only flaw of the car is the rims. They gotta go.

10k miles ? ... not too much
previous owners probably abused the hell out of it ? Do you know that?
Now listed at $234k ... WOW!!! ... any lower and I could almost offer my Stradale straight up

The SLR does have a few good things going for it, they can be worked on by any MB dealership, the parts are readily available, and they can be used as daily drivers. The downside is the car is way over priced for what you get, its not all that fast when compared to other cars in its class, and honestly to the untrained eye its hard to tell it from an SL. Good news is the SLR is dead and a new car is on the way, less expensive, and still the same performance.

The only SLR'S were sold in the mill are the one that auction off for charities. Dealers in San Diego were having problems selling it at just retail prices. Mercedes were also short of about 1000 cars in their total production numbers world wide due to no demand.
