I love it. Not a huge fan of most modern German stylings, but this SLS is truely awesome...

I thought maybe it would look better without the silver painted star on the front, so I played with Photoshop a bit and came up with this. I really don't mind the star, but the bar and the star should have been chrome and not painted silver. Doesn't look all that bad without it though.
Looks pretty good without it... Originally Posted by chilledbenz

Interesting critique with an eye for detail. I think the Panamera is based more on the styling queue of 911's with the raised fender look. I believe the 300SL preceded that design by about 10 years. Unfortunately, porsche got wrong with the Panamera but the some think is breathtaking, (like a punch in the stomach)Originally Posted by rockjock

Can't see the Aston body based upon the A and C pillar with gull wing doors.
No one is going to confuse this with a Z based on the lights, but I do agree that the rear execution is Acura/SLR.
Combined with the performance potential this will be a winner. I just ordered mine in Daytona blue.

i think the sls looks like a mazda 6 and a little a bit of lexus is-f... and yes a little bit like honda nsx and maybe the backmirrors like a bmw m7 ... and the back a little bit like supra or nissan 200sx S15... it also reminds me of

Did you get to see the full list of colors? I know they are offering two flat colors for the SLS only and the illusive Alubeam color will finally make it onto a brochure..even if it cost an extra $10k.Originally Posted by Jim Brady
