World's Fastest SLR by
It runs the 1/4 mile in 10.29 seconds at a speed of 134 mph. The car is a partnership between 4 different companies that all brought something unique to the table for either the interior, exterior or engine.
If it wasn't fast, it would still be good looking. (pics and two videos after the jump)

I bought everything they had for my SLR and it couldn't even hit 130 mph in the quarter. They have a nitrous oxide system on that car that nobody is talking about. I would never put nitrous oxide on my car, but to each his own I guess. I think it would be more fair if they disclosed the truth when making statements about this car. My SL black hit 130 mph that same day, albeit with every mod they make for the car.

I will be happy to fly to where you live and drive your car at a sanctioned 1/4 mile track (if you pay me) and show you what it should run. Or send it to South Florida and we can take it to the track together.
Post your mods, your dyno graphs and your time slip, and lets get to the bottom of why you car is not doing what it should.

Someone in your area from this Forum, with good credentials should take a look at your SLR, better yet race Her, about 10 quarters and see what comes?

i agree something is wrong with brutal honest if he can't hit 130 in the 1/4 as even my full weight (actually more as I have a roll cage in it) little clk is trapping at 131.

My name is Mark and I am from RENNtech. This thread has come to my attention and feel it necessary at this point to chime in.
To Brutallyhonest-
Myself and the other staff members here are unaware of any customer complaining or having any issues with any of the modifications RENNtech has performed on an SLR. I handle customer satisfaction here as well as a few other things and no such issue has been brought to my attention, well....ever. In fact, we have done a multitude of upgrades to these vehicles- I would venture to say more than any other tuning company.
With that, I would ask that you contact myself or any other member of our staff here at RENNtech to discover the underlying issue with modifications (RENNtech's or not) performed to your vehicle.

I would be more than happy to help you resolve this or any other issue you may be having with your SLR as the only way we can help is by someone contacting us with the problem.
As for our record SLR- the modifications to the vehicle were as listed and without the addition of blue bottles or anything magic other than a whole lot of raw HP and a skilled driver behind the wheel.
In fact, we are finishing up a few more tweaks on the SLR and will be running the car again very shortly looking to further improve on our record. Those in the south Florida area are welcome to come out, poke around and watch us break another record with the worlds fastest Mercedes at PBIR.

This brutallyhonest dude is always trolling every thread I read. Just stop feeding the troll guys. He acts like everything he has is better than yours and he's a deity of some sorts. I wouldn't put nitrous in my car he says.....you've been watching too many ricer videos....nitrous done right and used wisely is 100% safe. If you are going to use a 300 shot with a 29.99 dollar kit then I see why you will never use nitrous.
