The Mecedes SLS SMG Gullwing has officially been given the honor of being the cover of Gran Turismo 5. If they ever actually release it, that is. we’ve all been waiting a very long time for this game to drop.

I want the C63 and SLS in Forza Motorsports 3! There is already a ML63 and a Black Series SL (and few more cars) but I really want a C63. Which you can tune by Kleemann, Brabus and so on. Even bodykits and rims! Man I love a modded C63!

SLS pic from the game...
Just for those who want to see the level of graphics this game has, I've attached a picture of the in-game SLS. The Top Gear test track will be one of the tracks in the game too!

They have DLC that has these 2 cars. Go to the marketplace and DL it asap. I made my little brother buy the c63.

EDIT:: ok , The SLS is NOT available in any car packs for download. I must of confused it with the SLR Stirling Moss edition that they made available.

BUT the C63 is 100% in the game now. http://www.aeropause.com/2010/07/wor...test-dlc-pack/ It looks so good

SLS in action!!
Got the game and it is fantastic! Best driving simulator on any console, ever! You have to go through the license tests and special events first. In the process you become a better driver in GT5 and fine tune your real world skills too. The physics is very good! However, I would strongly recommend getting the steering wheel (force feedback types) for this game. You can feel the differences between the cars! Obviously an HDTV is also a must, 3D is a bonus and adds depth to the in car view.

Check out my pics from in-the-game replay mode. There is even a more spectacular photo mode but I haven't had time to explore that yet, been busy

The game was released on the 24th of November and ordered it off Amazon uk.
Also got my wife to try it out last night for the first time! First lap of the shorter Suzuka circuit was horrible (as expected, as she didn't want to listen and do some of the first license tests first) but she continued with a little guidance from me and started to poster faster and faster laps till she was able to do a 1:09 lap from her first 2:33 lap. She had a smile on her lap after some impressive driving and might be a new convert.
Some new pics attached from another circuit at night, in the rain!

My biggest problem With GT5 (beyond the archaic menu system) is the SLS. It sounds nothing like the actual car. It uses a generic V8 sound. This is especially strange because the SLS in Need For Speed Hot Pursuit actually sounds like an SLS. Froza 3 ultimate also sampled the actual car as well. A lot of the SLS appeal is the sound. Such a disappointment.

Sounds good in my home setup

The SLS sounds correct with my 7.1 surround sound setup. I would advise checking your settings for surround sound on your receiver, on the PS3 and in the GT5 sound options menu to make sure you are getting the proper sound.

From idle it sounds just about identical and the C63 sounds also just about identical too. Though I would wish it was more mechanical and louder through the acceleration.
