Spotted Near Phila. Hey That's My Driveway!
Picked up at my dealer on Friday and drove 100 miles to the Pocono Mountains for a weekend with friends. Managed to get in my golf bag and full set of clubs along with 2-soft bags of clothing for my wife and myself.
Imola Grey with woven tan leather is an awesome combination. Can't imagine anything better. Love the looks from all angles. Drove several last Nov at Laguna Seca and now owning one is unbelievable.
Power is incredible but I have barely pushed it, observing MB recommendation to do 1,000 miles before WOT. Only total of 270 to now.
Suspension is harsher than anticipated reminding me of my G55 until I switched the shocks to those from the G500. Of course, there is no way to modify the SLS and the suspension is designed to compliment the car's potential in terms of handling and speed.
Overall it is truly the most exciting vehicle I've owned or driven. Looking forward to putting more miles on it and feeling the all out power.

Floor Mats
In answer to the question about the color of floor mats.
The optional 204 brown woven leather is the only interior color that comes with matching brown floor mats. All other colors come with black floor mats.
BTW, the brown mats look great and truly compliment the leather particularly the woven section in the center area of the seat and backrest.

I saw that exact same SLS at the Mercedes-Benz of Fort Washington dealer last week. It was inside next to an S63 and E63, but it was blocked off a bit. I took pics and all, I remember it by the AMG plate frame and 'AMG SL' license plate

It is also there for them to figure out why there is significant throttle hesitation on starting from a dead stop.

Beautiful car. Definitely the show stealer at the dealership. I was there earlier this morning picking up a sensor for my black CL AMG and saw it again. Hope they can solve the issue, actually they better lol. Maybe we'll cross paths on the road sometime in the summer
