Went to the AMG preview night at the LA Auto Show and saw the SLS Black. I'm in love.

It's the Solarbeam car. 250k EUR, same as the SL65 BS. So around $300k USD.

I'm heading up to Detroit this weekend to see the car in person. I have made arrangements to get beyond the ropes and get to actually get inside the car. I will be ordering one as soon as they become available to order here in the US. DOG should be published any day now. From what I have heard(from reliable sources) prices will be over $320K or higher depending on paint option but nothing official has been released. I think I am going to go with Solarbeam or Mars Red....decisions, decisions

Well, I am in the market for a used SL65 BS right now and I would really like to find one of those in Mars Red and then go with the SLS BS in Solarbeam however Mars red SL BS's are few and far between. Might end up with a Mars red SLS BS and a Black SL BS. If you have not noticed I am trying to obtain the entire collection

Actually i have noticed that since you already own a CLK BS and a C BS. You're right about a Mars Red SL65 BS that it's rare. Here's one i found. Not sure if it's sold or not.

I have seen that car in person, they will not budge on price and CarFax comes back with a couple weird little things. If they would come off the price $15k I would have been a buyer, they have had that car for 6 months or longer.

I don't know what it is about that dealer but I've seen a ton of cars that they have listed for well above what we'd consider reasonable market pricing.

Good luck on completing the BS set, but you still need one more. The first BS made, the SLK55 BS, I think for the Japanese market.

What a boss. My friend's uncle here in Seattle is attempting a BS collection as well. From what I know he's got the SL and CLK. Don't know if he ordered the C or not.
