SLS black series body kit
Brothers,
I have 2011 SLS
Is it possible to buy the black series body kit(bumpers , hood .. etc) from the MB dealer and fix it on the SLS? Without need of customizing the other parts
The black series bodykit gives the car one hell of a look and am totally in love with it

Unless you are particularly well connected I would seriously doubt ou could buy these parts from a dealer. Maybe if you could get hold a VIN # for a BS perhaps

It would be cheaper to buy an actual SLS BS, hood is wider on BS, price of hood alone is over $70,000....that is not a typo, $70k for just the CF hood alone. I know this becuase the first half dozen or so produced, including two MBUSA fleet test cars have an imperfection in the hood cowl, I was the first customer to discover said imperfection and brought the car to the dealer, they just thought "we will just order you a new hood" ran the part number through the system and it showed $70,000 and change, dealer called corporate to see if maybe somebody added an extra zero by mistake.....nope the actual retail price of the hood is a tick over $70k US dollars. Hood is a work of art, however I think the $70k is more of a deterant factor to stop people from doing the conversion you are thinking about doing.
Seems a bit crazy to me, a minor front end fender bender would most likely total one of these cars based on the hood price alone.

It will never quite be proportioned like a real BS. The hood on the BS is wider than the hood on a standard and GT SLS.

2015 SLS AMG GT Final Edition
Why Pretend?
I would never do anything to my SLS Final Edition to make it into something that it is not.
Sure all of that carbon fiber was added to the white SLS and at a glance it might pass for a BS but one double-take and one can see that there is way too much daylight under it giving it away as NOT being a BS. Way too far off the ground for a BS - just saying!!!!
