Silver Arrow SLS for Sale in CA
Here's a nice looking SLS for sale at the dealership where I bought mine. Scoop it up quick. Ask for Don (sales). I am not assocoated with the dealer I just had a good experience there.

She's mine, I licked it. :^)
Funny story, I was working a deal for a very comparable SLS in Orlando and was about to pull the trigger on it when I decided to take one more look at AutoTrader to see if anything else had popped up (especially on the West coast). Lo and behold, a mere 90 miles from me is this one (that NewportSLS posted) and I jumped on it.
Sorry to anybody else who was thinking about buying this one in Valencia. The one in Orlando is almost identical but has the pricey upgraded paint (Alu-Beam) and the forged wheels with 2-tone red/black interior and CF trim. Not sure about the stereo upgrade but definitely doesn't have the Carbon brakes. Move quick though, the sales guy told me there were 2 others interested...could have just been "Sales BS" though.

Mind disclosing if you paid asking price or near asking? Seems like a lot of people are curious about the prices and what they're actually going for. Absolutely beautiful and well optioned car, congrats!

Thanks! I paid near asking ... more than I probably should have but I felt like if I kept waiting, the darn thing would just be out of reach. I started window shopping the prices on these about 12-18 months ago when they were asking 130s-150s. I missed the boat on the Z8 and Ford GT, wasn't going to sit on the sidelines and watch it happen all over again. I'll be holding onto this for a very long time and funding retirement with it...but don't worry, it'll get driven plenty along the way. :^)

Thanks All !
I've been perused a lot of threads here and have a couple questions:
1) Can the rear license plate "bumps" be removed (on a US spec car)? It just looks 'slapped on' almost as an afterthought - while everything else seems so amazingly executed.
2) Are the CF engine bay covers available through dealers? Pricing?
Anyway, can't wait to pick her up tomorrow...tonight is like Christmas Eve. :^)

Thanks for the links!
I think I'll add the CF to the engine bay later down the road. I really like the visual difference it makes.
Although it is tempting to lance those boils on the rear bumper, I'll leave it alone. I'm a stock/oem kind of guy...just wish they had a more elegant solution for the US.

You won't even notice the bumper things when you get one of these > http://www.rwcarbon.com/159/0/0/765/...-diffuser.html

Just picked her up!
1st job will be to take off the front plate holder. yuk.
2nd order of business...The transmission update has definitely not been applied. My wife's torque converter automatic (Ghibli) shifts way faster. Gotta get his rectified asap.
What a monster though. I didn't have much opportunity to really drive it hard, just floating along the 405 to get home. I managed to average 20 mpg though - which was impressive. The ceramic brakes are other worldly...my god.
According to the dealer, they could have sold this SLS 10 times - in fact, there were at least 2 very unhappy campers (who I beat to the punch that afternoon I called).

Wow that's the first time I have EVER seen a plate holder on any USA car. Save it. It might be worth money! LOL ... >>>https://mbworld.org/forums/sls-amg-g...re-update.html

Post some pics! You'll get use to the slower response to your inputs, but yes, get it updated! Congrats man. It's an epic machine AND you still have an Fcar.. whoot! whoot!

BTW, the dealer was able to sell me an extended warranty through Safe-Guard. I got their "platinum" coverage for 84 months and 75,000 miles with a $100 deductible for $5,900 (total premium). Seemed like a bargain and gives me tremendous peace of mind.
