How do you remove bumper and fender grills?

I did a search on the forums and google, couldn't find the procedure. Don't see any screws on the outside, are they snap fit?

Thanks Newport for sending that. I just picked up my coupe last week from a friend that wasn't putting it to use.

I've seen those blow-ups before, it's hard to tell whats snap fit and whats screwed on. I knew the hood ones screw on from the back. Was hoping someone knew how to remove the bumper and fender ones.

Great looking car. I like the white on red. What are the options...looks like quite a few. Post some more pics in the "SLS picture" thread. Thanks

Taps?

I figured out the fender grills, they're snap fit on along with some double sides foam tape.

Figured out the grill ornaments.

The chrome bars slide sideways, away from the star. Takes a little bit of force. Need to jog them about 3/8" sideways away from the star, and then pull them outwards away from the grill.

The larger painted "wing" assembly is snapped into place. Once you remove the chrome bars, 6 horizontal openings are exposed. Need to use a flat screwdriver to release the tabs. In the center portion, there are 4 small snaps that you can jiggle the assembly to release.

The Star and star bucket are snapped into place as well. Once you remove the wing assembly, you can see the snaps from the back. Self explanatory how to get it off once you see it.

so to take them off you need to floss through the tape(I imagine back side of the fins) then they just snap off or do you move them forward or backward?

I don't think they slide, seemed like they're snap fit straight on. I rocked mine up and down and seemed like that did the trick. But I didn't pull them off all the way.
