Hey guys, I'm looking at buying this 2011 SLS. I've never seen this color before, and wanted to know if its been painted or was this a factory spec or special order option? Upon inspection of the car, there seems to be absolutely no sign of a repaint. The rear emblems are missing - that was the only thing I noticed.

Ah, I wasn't sure if it was Daytona blue as in other google searches for that color, it looked different online.

I think it being a pearl colour lighting will make the colour look different from different angles, if you know what I mean

Good point, it looks so much darker in some other online pictures. Perhaps those are Yosemite Blue.

See if you can get a picture of the black vin sticker, that will have the colour code on it

Well that throws a spanner in the works
C775 is Iridium Silver Metallic, so it may have been repainted, unusual for a car of that expense to be colour changed, usually just wrapped instead, pull up the boot mats and have a sniff around

And it only has 5000 miles.

Going to take a sniff around tomorrow afternoon and see if I can find any more signs of potential color change. Thanks for your help.

Unfortunately turns out the whole car was painted. Originally silver. Too bad nice car otherwise and low miles.

One of the guys here has that same color. One of one from Mercedes for the Pebble Beach unavailing. I would not write this off. The color is beautiful and if done to a high standard than I don’t see a major problem with it. However you must really like it to move forward
