I recently installed wireless CarPlay to my black series. Everything works perfectly except the command knob does not work in carplay mode. I have to talk to siri to switch to different apps. I have seen some CarPlay units installed in SLS online but couldn’t find its owner. Please help if anyone here have done to their car, if you could please share what unit did you installed and are you able to use the factory command knob to control the CarPlay would be great. Thank you.

Where did you find the Apple car play “kit” for the SLS. I am using the Bovee Bluetooth to stream, but am interested in possibly adding car play.

I heard this works well for Bluetooth streaming.

currently using Kremersino kit. Their kit works perfect on W221 s class, w212 e class and w204c class, but for sls, the knob does not compatible with the kit due to very limited number of sls owner install this kit on their car. They need to write the code that compatible with our factory knob to the unit in order to get them working according to Kremersino. I saw a sls installed different carplay kit works perfectly. I reached out to the installer but they never replied back to me.

I too installed that Kremersino kit in my SLS. Both settings seem to work, however my controller won't respond at all. No reaction in neither of the screens.

Good find, I wonder what kit this is??

Just want you guys to know that Kremersino released a new kit dedicated for SLS, this kit using factory mic( no need to wire another mic) and factory command knob does working this time.
