What police departement owns this one? It looks like Brittish plates, but on the other hand it appears to be a LHD vehicle.

Anyone knows??

That is the seal of the City of Los Angeles, with the "To Protect and to Serve..." motto. But it has the Brittish plate. Who knows... LMAO

It's not British plates; ours are white at the front.

One English constabulary, I think it was Shropshire, had two smart cars in use a while ago. Used for community policing, police displays e.t.c.

I stand corrected! :o Only the rear plates are yellow in UK, right? So, can it be dutch plates then? (Seems strange to have Police written in english on the car though...)
