Smile member rating system like itrader

i know we have the feedback section. but if someones selling something im not gonna go look through that section to see if anyone left feedback on them.

we should just have some kind of rating/feedback system similar to itrader or something like ebay would be pretty cool.

that is all.

what do you guys think ???
a lot of other webs got it

the pic i up loaded is from a g35nyc they have a itrader
and this is what someone's profile looks like

buying / selling / tradeing look into this ! it will be good for this web a lot of selling and buying is going on in here it will be good for members they can check out the feed backs this and that

An interesting idea, but you can also see the member's longevity and number of posts right there on the main screen. Chances are, a member registered for several years will not scam you.

I was also looking for an iTrader system. We use that on 2 other forums Im on and to me it is much better than a simple feedback thread. Just click on the number in there user status and it tells everything. And I know of several people who had been long standing members on another forum that ended up scamming a GB. Not saying it would happen here but its always possible.

Right-you bumped a thread that was last posted in Jan of 08, in July of 09-my bad-my post should have read:
You realize you bumped a thread that is a year and a HALF old, dont you?
Valid reason or not-do you really expect the OP to keep this one on this list to follow 18 months after it was discussed?

If you were somewhat smart I didnt bump this for the OP your smart guy. I bumped it for the Admins or super mods to hopefully rethink the issue and possbile need/want of getting iTrader. I for your greatness and thought process because I would not know how to count how many months it had been for bumping a thread.

Do you really think it matters how old the thread is if it could be somewhat relevant? I dont think so and trust me I am sure it is not causing any harm by bumping a thread in a forum that nobody checks, except for 1 thread about a troll.

This to me and others could be a great tool to use for selling and buying parts. This is the only forum I have signed up for that has no iTrader or similar function. I do not count the feedback as such because it really doesnt get used the way it should. I have now bought 3 items and sold 1 item here and have had no feedback thread started. However if we had iTrader that would reflect my status and show what kind of person I am for others to potentially buy or sell to me.

One other thing, you call this thread a discussion? The matter was never discussed. It was 1 supermod who threw 2 cents in and let it be. Mister Brenton is a good guy from what I have read around here, but 1 person saying its not really necessary does not make this a dicsussion. If you however decide to discuss feel free but how about you stick to the discussion portion and a little bit less about me bringing back a thread that was never handled with in the first place. Thanks bud for your support!

I never used the word discussion-I simply stated that it was discussed (which it was)-
I can see how you and "others" would feel that this is a great tool for you-hence all the responses.....
I'll leve this one alone now-I was simply pointing out that, in most of the forums that I've been a member of-when you start commenting on stuff thats over a year old-relevant or not-thats more or less trolling.....
you're welcome for the support
