Would you rather have a seperate forum, or just put it in the Tech Talk forum?
https://mbworld.org/forums/forumdisp...?s=&forumid=41
I'm open to the idea, I'm just not sure it needs to be seperate. Closing the thread would obviously have some advantages, but it leaves out the room for direct questions to the post.

What I have seen on other forums, they have a separate area that has the information.
The positives are that nobody can edit them other than the Moderators.
The format is usually an installation manual style with pictures and descriptions.
Question can be answered via e-mail or PM’s
The negatives are, updating any anomalies, is done only by the moderators, which gives you guys more work.
Not everything works on every car.
With the way cars are today many things can be done across vehicle model lines.
I’d volunteer to help.

yes, like Timster said. More of a how-to manual and not a discussions forums. Anyone would be able to submit a how-to, but only the good ones would stay.
I would also be willing to help.

I agree this would not be a forum, but a section on MBWorld called "How To", for example. If you guys want to send in your DIY docs, I'd be happy to review them and create a new section for them.

Well, if you know enough about HTML, I would say use that. But for now, stick to MS Word and what I'll do is create an HTML template for you to use in the future so everything looks consistent. Don't forget pics! Thanks!!
