Home page links not working

On the home page the "newest threads" and "active threads today" links are linking back to the home page instead of the actual thread.

MBW STFF is messed up. That feature is therefore in the same boat. IB is working on it.

it's been almost a month...

Any progress? I'd hate to have to bash your software provider (I'm a software engineer).

It's becoming a real pain to navigate this site? Does the webmaster even care any more? I mean come on it's been more than a month that all the links point back to the top level www.mbworld.org. How can ad sponsors be pleased with this type of service?

What links? Be more specific. Give a couple of examples using screen shots pre and post.

Front page, left side, New Posts, Active Posts.

hover over any New Posts link or Active Posts link and you'll see the html all point to the home page rather than the corresponding post.

It was first reported in this thread on April 17, has been a pain in the @ss since then.

I'd get fired if I let something like this go for a month, particularly in a public-facing application. And this is the FACE of your business. Doesn't get more business critical than that.

are you saying

"thanks for pointing it out, I never start on that page"

or are you telling me to never start on that page, and thanking me in advance following orders?

If it's the former, someone already pointed it out on Apr 17., and your response was "MBW STFF is messed up. That feature is therefore in the same boat. IB is working on it. " That was over a month ago with no feedback or progress.

If it's the latter, why should I never start on the FRONT PAGE? Because it's broken?

I think he's saying that he never starts on that page, and thanks for pointing it out. I also don't visit the homepage, but see the issue as well.

I will table it to be fixed. Apologies for the delay.

cheers,
robb

Exclamation

I think there is still a problem.

The links on the homepage are going to the thread, but the links are the same since Saturday.

For instance, the thread "lime green?" has been listed under Newest Threads for days while that thread hasn't had a post since 6/5. Back when the links were linking back to the homepage those thread titles were always changing to new ones.

The problem with "Newest Threads" and "Active Threads" on the home page not updating is occurring again.
