Give it a rest. It makes no sense to keep this up. If you are really annoyed....might be best to move on to another forum.

etenn, this is actually the correct place to express their frustrations with the situation.

Albeit somewhat disserving, all they are trying to do is to bring the situation to light for other members. You either are interested or not. Either way, they (we all) have a right to express opinions regarding the online community we joined.

All efforts are taking place to either a.) make improvements, or b.) provide information.

Nuthinn wrong with that.

There's a very good reason why we are still here. It's because we want to be heard.

When MBworld decides that they want to ban someone for no good reason with no warning, especially someone as helpful as Kineda.... we really have to draw the line.

If you could read all the other posts that were deleted, you would know that he did nothing wrong. No warning email, nothing.

Also I don't have the other side of the story since it seems that no one that has anything to do with it is speaking up. However, I just had a thread moved on me. I'm not trying to cause problems, but I didn't understand why. I was trying to say hello to the other C-Class members in the W203 section. It got moved to Off Topic?? I don't get it.
There is another side to the story. This person was not just banned for posting pictures as some would have you believe.

Sorry about your post being moved (my fault). I meant to send you a PM (private message) letting you know that I was moving it. Normally when we see a post that is not related to the forum it's in, we move it to the correct forum. Since your post did not relate to the C class forum, I moved it into Off Topic. If you are a C class owner and you were saying hi to the other C class owners, then I apologize for the oversight.

mbworld has gone downhill...

glad I could get a post in before the thread is closed:

I had not visited MBworld for 5-6 months until yesterday and was completely shocked after reading Terry's CF thread. I was even more shocked that Kineda was banned from a MB web forum. How could this be? How come one of the most influential Mercedes Benz tuners was banned from the largest Mercedes Benz site on the internet? You moderators seem to stand so strong behind your conviction yet you explain your actions with..."There is another side to the story. This person was not just banned for posting pictures as some would have you believe.” Why is it that you "moderators" continue to deny the members of this community an explanation as to why a fellow member, a fellow friend, has been banned?

Revstriker, your posts in particular have always been interesting to read due to your articulated and intelligent responses. However I must say that in light of this recent issue your credibility as a moderator/administrator has paralleled that in the direction of which this board has taken. Downhill. The tactics you use to allow a build up of a thread only to get a last word in then close it immediately afterwards is a true example of this. Despite the outcome of this situation with Kineda and the administrators of this board, I think you will find that you are far less respected by a number of members here who have witnessed your lack of compassion for the MB community.

Respectfully,
Matthew

Matthew, I appreciate your respectful query. The reason that I have not provided more info is because I was not involved in this person's banning, and I do not want to put information out that I do not know to be true. All I know for a fact is that he had cross posted in multiple forums, and that there was two way communication between him and the MBWORLD staff before he was banned. I have a good idea what happened, but like I said, I was not involved and I do not know every little detail. All I have tried to do from the start was to say that he was banned for violating the TOU, and that the administrators were handling it. For doing so, I was called names, and accused of editing/deleting posts (none of which I have done). As for the posts being closed, it was because they were not on topic for the forum that they were in. Also, this is not a topic that needs to be debated in every single thread.

I have respect for every member of this forum that acts mature, and has equal respect for me. I will try to help and answer questions whenever possible when they are asked in a respectful way. I have little respect for those who seem to think they know the "whole story" and then make up lies about how this forum is moderated to support their story.

What's with how Rev and AlBoston closed the Ignition Systems thread in W203? Did you guys have to taunt us like pre-schoolers?

"As this thread is now off-topic..." ???? What thread on this BOARD hasn't gone off-topic?

That was or could've potentially been a very good thread. Is there another way you could've handled that? Could you at least have requested that the company repost and participate to keep it on topic, or notify us who to contact for more information?

As if this wasn't nuts enough?

The reason that the thread was closed has already been stated. If you wish to contact the starter of the thread you can do so through PM, or by using the email info that he provided in the original post.

I know beyond the "Mod" in you, you know what I am saying. I just reposted it elsewhere and asked local people to the shop to contact him. I emailed him myself.

Other members not part of the coup de could've used the thread or been interested.

this sucks
