FS: W211 Lowering Links (SoCal)
Purchased for my E500 from RB Tech in DTLA in 09/08. Still do their job perfectly.

how does it actually work? cause it already has the airmatic, does the dealer install this or is it a home installation? will it have any affect on the warranty?

It's an easy install. I've never done it personally, but it took the guys @ my shop about 5 min. to lift it up & do it.
It won't effect your warranty at all; it's really easy to swap these out for the original ones. Just have to make sure you save them.

easy to install, put the car in the raised position, turn the wheels to full lock to access one side or the other. take the key out of ignition so it doesnt drop to the floor when removing the link. Pope the stock links off with a screw driver,a couple 10mm wrenches to remove the ball studs, then replace.

It's my understanding that the links are more consistent (from car to car) and can be reversed easily.
not to mention some dealers don't perform it (mine didn't when I had an MB!)
