2005 C230 Kompressor SS
>> FS: W203 KW V2 "Variant 2" Coilovers / PARTOUT <<
Well the day has come where my beloved w203 must go.
Just picked up my new car, I needed something lighter, an engine more powerful and tuning potential than my M271 1.8 SS.
Phenomenal handling and just a TRUE sports car to enjoy on those windy roads in Southern California.
Well here she is, just picked her up this 2 days ago.
An all new 2011 Volvo S80. Came standard with the Inline 6, BEEFY 3.2 "naturally aspirated" pushing a mindblowing 230hp!!![bow](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/bowdown.gif)

Only weighs like 2.5 Tons and its even FWD!![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Stock 17 inch 225/50 Non-staggered Volvo Wheels to keep this BEAST glued to the road at 50mphs on a 45mph turn.![bow](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/bowdown.gif)
>> Kk I'm just kidding around.![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)
Family comes first and with my first newborn of 2 months , I Needed a bigger / safer / economical (87 octane) / practical car and got a great deal on a new S80 with the Inscription Package (still sporty yeah?)
Parting out my 2005 C230 SS.
Sorry for the dirty pictures of the V2s. working and caring for a 2 month old, I hadn't had the time / energy / motivation / energy / time / energy to clean them, even paid Group 5 $350 to replace the coils with oem suspension when I had a Jack in my garage.
The V2 were ordered directly from Auto Anything in 2009 (have paperwork and receipts) after I sold my 19 inch BBS CH wheels during December of 2008 as I opted for handling over looks.
And I'm very very very glad I did. Dropped 1.8 in the front and 1.4 in the rear paired with Potenza Re960AS Pole Positions 17" 235/35 and 245/40.
I chose the KW V2s because the damping technology also attributes to individually adjustable rebound.
Great ride / handling combination with adjustable rebound damping but not TOO compressed to be uncomfortable for daily driving like Teins (Still avoid potholes and go slow over bumps).
Get the right adjustments for your tire size or fenders rolled and Eibach Spacers (in my case). Car literally transformed into a gocart! You'll be taking 335s Boxsters Z4s Miatas SLK350s G35s with ease on the OUTSIDE lane onto onramp loops.
A LOT of fun, just be sure you purchase warranty for your tires.![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
The KW V2s have roughly 28,800 miles on them. As far as maintenance, I had them readjusted at 12,000 miles and tightened the perches. Besides being dirty and possibly needing some re-lubrication, they are in impeccable condition. Mechanic confirmed not a single missing screw or bent coil.
The V2s are of Stainless Steel Housing actually "inox-line" stainless steel technology (not used in the V1) as they are very durable.

I would recommend if you want them in NEW condition and handling optimally have the suspension shop clean them thoroughly by taking them apart and using antiseize on the threads and perches to make sure they remain easy to turn. Be sure to take out the coils and clean / lubricate them before adjusting the height, you don't want to risk spoiling the grooves on the coils.
My first set of KW V2s...for sale.
The ride is outstanding.
IMHO, Hard to go wrong with KW. One of the best engineered, designed, and quality suspension kits in the world.
Now I get to enjoy the handling of my FWD S80. Only thing I'm keeping is the valentine that I'm getting hardwired into the volvo next week
...as well as a baby seat soon to match the two tone interior. ![Loser](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/loser.gif)

Thanks for looking guys, I know most of these parts are outdated and not as highly demanded as they were a couple years ago.
Make me a reasonable offer, I'll be happy to sell off these parts and to get something nice for my wife on mothers day.
PM me if you have any questions / offers or feel free to email me directly at l.bill123@gmail.com

Haha no I have been, trust me.
My wife and I both ordered Baby Einstein and are starting on "The Baby Book: Everything You Need to Know About Your Baby from Birth to Age Two." which I read on my Kindle.
Work is more demanding but my boss is happy with my performance as this quarters profits are at the highest they've been in 25 years.
But instead of "celebrating" and hanging out with buddies at the JimmyOs or En Fuego, I take the day off early to help out with groceries / baby necessities (COSTCO runs twice a week
) and come home early to my wife and son. Its an important / necessary and RESPONSIBLE transition. I'm still learning but I hope to be the best father to my son and provide for him all the things in life my own father could not.
Thank you all for the advice!

As requested by PM, here are some pictures of the butchered OEM exhaust.
Kept it in a plastic recycle bin, little dirty never cleaned it since it was replaced by the Remus. No Rust / Scrapes / Bends
