FS: 2002 C32 AMG - 55k miles, clean! CT/RI

I hate to have to do this but my C32 is up for sale. I'm the second owner of the car and have owned it for 6 months.

It was in great shape when I bought it and I went through it and had a glycol test done, which came back negative, then replaced the radiator and all fluids.

Tires have 6k miles on them, brakes are good, needs nothing. Absolutely excellent trouble free car, not beaten on...always adult owned.

It has the Code3 supercharger pulley and intake installed and I'll sell with or without.

Let me know if you have any questions. I'd like to get $18,500.

Absolutely no interest? What's a fair price for an extremely clean example?

First thing I would do is remove the pulley and have a stock car for sale. Most people do not want a car that is modded (Pulley). First thing that comes to mind is the car was driven hard. I am not saying that is the case or saying not everyone wants a stock car. But for the most part that is true. To give you an idea on price. I have had my 03 with 36K miles, stock, in like new cond inside/out, with a warranty from benz to 100K for $19,500 and I have had very little interest.

The economy is soft right now. The other thing going against us is the time of season. People will be putting cars like the C32 up for the Winter in a month or two.

Unless your willing to dump it for a give away price you will probally still have it next year. I hate to say that but I am in the same boat.

Good luck

Thanks very much, bud4ya, I appreciate the feedback. The only place that I've advertised it with the C3 pulley is on this site because I know it's a different group of people. I certainly considered what an average buyer would think of a modded car.

It's horrible that these things don't hold their value at all.

Good luck to you too.

Don't get discouraged. Specialty cars (AMG), especially used, can have very tight target markets. People spending 20k on a car have a myriad of choices - couple that with the fact that a good chunk of that population doesn't know what AMG is / doesn't care. With that in mind, a message board like this is the perfect place to gin up interest, it just may take longer. Then again, you have the age old ----> ridiculous low price/sell now vs the fair price/sell by 6 months. Of course then there is the "my car is special, thus premium price"/swallow pride/sell in 1 year route.

Good luck with the sale!

Can I see some more pictures? The usual...left/right/front/back - any rock chips, nicks, dings, interior (any wear/rips/stains on leather), all wheels, and engine-bay.

What is the status of the warranty if there is any remaining?

I am interested at 17K, from NJ...toying around with moving onto something faster than my IS300 with similar creature comforts/ride comfort.
