Give me a 7 seater in the US with similar luxury interior accouterments and I would buy one. Vans are so much better than SUVs. I miss the old R-class but I prefer vans with sliding doors anyway.

GLC in Vance confirmed. Good news for American workers. Not sure if it will be good news for GLC buyers.

I'm about to get an ID Buzz. The article says 2026, I wonder how true that is.

Many sources say the Vision V is very close to production ready so I guess it's true. MB is not like VW

The small g-wagen is coming as well

That's true. I guess I'd wait a couple years, and possibly even for the facelift, for the kinks to be workout anyway so I'll just stick with the Buzz for now. I hope they studied the Buzz when they developed this. The interior space in unrivaled, better than any large SUV (Escalade and suburban).

I think I read that the VLS will be 216" so around 22" longer than my GLE and upcoming Buzz (both @ 194"). That is going to be spacious but too big as a daily. I'm hoping the VLE will be a more manageable size.

VLE and VLS have rear wheel steering so it doesn't feel that big?

VLS feels like a Maybach and sits 4, VLE will sit 8, so maybe the same size? Some expert may get the dimension of VLE out of the video from Stuttgart to Rome.

I waited for the ID BUZZ for many years and have lost trust in VW...

I didn't pay any attention to the Buzz until two weeks ago. I was about to buy a Toyota Sienna as a practical family hauler and last minute, test drove the Buzz and ended up liking it for the interior space and EV driving dynamics vs a Sienna. Can't wait for this VLE though!

So this is the VLE, where is the VLS? Plus what's with those huge bezels around the screens, the review units are generally highly (fully portioned?) so these bezels has to be like this for the VLE?

The bezels are from the A and B class right? Even the C class removed the bezels...

So the price maybe similar to A and B class?

I would assume the E in the end means it is part of the E Class family though.

I hope you can at least get captains chairs in the VLE and would absolutely buy a 4 seater like the concept if it’s made available.

Anyone know when we can expect the VLS?

Not really, CLE is a C class...

If VLE is at least E then they would have used better screens without big A class bezels?

Looks neat. But anticipate electric boredom. I am glad some of you like the electric version. ICE and ICE hybrid is where I’m stuck at. I have not switched to gluten free.

Perhaps that is the problem, the last letter usually represent the class in MB's terms but there are exceptions, CLS for example, we all know it was meant to be a sportier version of the E-Class but also priced above the E-sedan. The GLC is the C-Class of GLC, the GLE is the E-Class of GLE, the GLS was meant to be the S-Class of SUV, also in MB's marketing but we all know the GLS never came close to a W223. https://www.mercedes-benz-oakville.c...of-suvs/152295

The CLE is actually a mixed really, I saw many lately and I sat in one last year, it was very nice. It gets CLE exclusive style seats, massage which the W206 doesn't get in North America, so an E-Class feature. The CLE as you know was meant to merge the C and E coupe/cabriolet in one (two) models. The E part of the CLE name was meant to market as an E-Class (yes I know, it is mostly marketing) but as previously mentioned, it has features you won't find in a W206 C-Class.

Some said, EQE was marketed as the E-Class EV and so was the EQS marketed as the S-Class EV. That is why it is fair to think that Mercedes is meant to market the VLE as the E-Class of the V-Class. As well as the VLS the S-Class of V-Class.

So it is very strange that the E-Class gets those bezels.
