Right, but that still doesn't tell us anything about this application. These cams might be an upgrade for a NA vehicle, but stock C32 cams might also be an upgrade for a NA vehicle with this motor. So we need more info.

UPDATE: Schrick says that these cams are not intended for the NA M112, not the supercharged motor. They do not offer an off the shelf cam for our supercharged motors. So much for that.

then where does kleeman get them and where did renntech get them? No something seams odd here. I think that Schrick cams were the ones that these tuners sold.. Prolly the schrick cams work fine for our cars they just don't know that.

Hm... then where does kleeman and renntech(used to) get their cams from? I don't think they know what they are talking about... You can prolly fit specific shrick camshafts just fine and they will work just fine, because i some how it is hard to belive that eaither kleeman or renntech developed their own camshafts... or even got them from MKB...

My schrick importer believes that there is a specific cam for the blower cars. The export rep in Germany is on vacation, so it may be a few days before we have this info.

You know the Germans - they vacation a lot!

Thanks

Brad, do they have cams for the 230K's (m271 engine)? I'm pretty sure they have them for the m111, but it's never been made clear if they have them for the m271. I'd be interested if they do.

Yeah, Schrick says that the cams are not intended for forced induction motors. They said that there will still be a marginal gain in power, but a custom grind is needed to really take advantage of the kompressor motor.

Cool. More info.

Dr. Schrick says that this motor responds very well, better then other cam applications and is a fairly easy install.

Retail is $1995. I need to know how many people are interested in order to figure out how good of a deal I can get and pass on.

Thanks
Brad

Huh? Schrick told me that the cams were intended for N/A 112 motors, and not kompressors ones and that while the cams will fit, the grind is not optimized for blown applications. Is that incorrect?

If these are available for the 230K, I may be highly interested. If not then, oh well (no big surprise).
