A few people have expressed an interest in a group buy for MBH headers. In the past group buys for these headers have not been success full due to the over all cost of these headers, from a manufacturing stand point. All though our header across many different types of Mercedes have been a real success for us.

Most group buys for items like this only cover 1 car, leaving the rest high and dry. With that said i wanted to do something different and offer just about all of our headers we make available in a group buy.

There will be 3 pricing structures based on cost of materials. To get this to work I need at least 5 or more people or more to be part of the group buy. They can be from almost any platform we cover. In other words a mix and match of cars.

This group buy will be for header and test pipes only. If someone want one of the mid-sections or mid-section with optional cats, H-Pipe or X-pipe I can work out a good price on that.

Each header is made to order using 100% US grade 304 and 321 stainless steel. In the years we have been building headers we have never had a header failure. They are built to out last your car.

First price structure: $2495 (covers these cars)
C55, CLS55, E55, SL55, E500, CLS500 SL500, CLK55 (W209) SLK55

Second Price Structure: $2900 (covers these cars)
C63, E63, CLS 63, SL63

Third price Structure: $2700 (covers these cars)
CL55, S55, G55, CL500, S500, G500

Once we get 5 people on the list production will start. Lead time is TBA. Typical lead time is 1 week per set. However I will do my best to speed up the lead time once the 5 headers min has been met. Once we get 5 orders I will PM those people about payment.

 

What is the midsection consist of and what are my options?
I'm interested in the group buy.

 

We offer on select cars a mid-section. It allows the cars like the E55, CLS55, C63, CLS63 to have a 100% bolt on header system. Other wise a cut and a weld on the factory system is required to mate the teat pipes. Much like some other header systems available. With a mid-section. available options are Cats, X-pipe or H-pipe. for a little extra.

Also keep in mid the header system offered in the group buy is deemed for off road use only But again we have options for high flow cats. Some cars may require rear o2 extending if cats are used. I've seen some cars same make and model have longer o2's than the other. So its hit or miss with extendign the o2 when used with cats. Otherwise our off road system requires no extending of the rear emissions based o2 sensors. Also keep in mind on 63 cars tuning may be required. We have in house custom tunes for each header system we sell or you can have for favorite tuner make a map for you.

A couple of questions:

1. Do you offer coating as an option for the headers?

2. I have an 06 e55, what is the additional cost for an x pipe midesection?

 

NO luv for the m112k? Im sure there would be plenty of c32/slk32/xf folks interested :x

 

We have options for header coating, however our headers use very high grade stainless steel and stainless steel is a poor conductor of heat. Like I said we have coating options for those who want that.

X-pipes are labor intensive to make, I can get you a quote on the mid-section w/ Xpipe

We only have CLK 63 convertible headers. We don not have a mid-section for this car.

I would really love a set, but I really shouldn't spend any more money right now! I also wish they were bolt on for a C55. What is the normal price on them?
