I'm new to this forum, I have a selection of vintage merc parts i might need help identifying, do you guys suggest any place to post those question? is there a dedicate it sub forum for that?

In any case ill pose my first question any idea what this battery tray might belong to?

 

I would not know .Only thing i can say is it is not for a Mecedes W124

 

Giulian I have looked through 1000 immages for this part .I had no luck . You try this ,go to Google search on the search page look to top right you will see immages click on it .Then in the search box put in what your looking for.

Thank you for your effort, I too have searched endlessly through google, i have literally search every merc chassis, but no luck so far....

Maybe its not even a battery tray at all...

 

Giuliano i think it is a battery tray , but what it fits i dont know .

 

Depending on the size, could be w108 or w113 battery support .
