I am seriously considering supercharging my '00 W210. I was just wondering if any South FL members here in this forum know of anyone that has a W210 Supercharged to check it out. I would like to see how noisy it is and also would like to see what brand people are recommending (Kleeman,HPS,RennTech) If any South Florida member has a supercharged W210 please let me know if I can meet up to see it.

Thanks,
Felipe

I think James Cannon has a supercharged E55 W210.
He's Lousiana if I remember right though.. he loved it!

How much does a supercharger cost with istallation included? Price differencies between Kleemann,HPS,RennTech? I have heard that Kleemann has reduced the price with 50 %. Is that true?

About 10K to 30K installed. James Cannon's Renntech E55 has broken into the 11's on street tires! I have yet to track my Gen II HPS E55, but high 11's are likely with decent traction. JamE55 is all Kleemann and he's very happy. (chime in here James). A completely different car with 500+ HP. Being in FL, I would make a trip to Renntech.

My only concern is that tranny, but how can you argue with those numbers...WOW.

Just can't imagine a tranny designed to handle 350 hp, would last with 5-6hundredhp and monster amounts of additional torque.

The strength of the AMG tranny continues to amaze me.

Not sure what your budget is but if you can go with Kleemann USA all the way!

I would love to get the best supercharger out there but, I am also on a budget. The most that I am looking to spend with installation is around $10K. I know that I am probably a little bit off, but maybe it could be enough. If not, then I will just do the basic mods ( K&N, Pulleys, computer.)
It's just that I already know myself, and as soon as I start addidng power it becomes VERY addictive, and I will want MORE! It has happened to me with my previous cars and I already feel the itch on this one!

I agree that it is very addictive. But since you have a budget of $10k you may want to look at HPS as an alternative. Kleemann with install is definitely more than your budget. Renntech is also more i believe. You'll probably notice very little improvement with those mods you mentioned (K&N, pulleys and ecu) and might want to consider headers. Hope this helps.

Have to agree with James here. You could easily spend $1,500.00-$2,500.00 for ECU pulleys, etc. and get no more than 30-40 RWHP. That is seriously spendy HP compared to a blower. I believe the "stage 1" Kleemann is around 500-530 crank HP like HPS, but comes in at around 15K.

s/c on a 210
I think you should save up more $ and go with Renntech since they are closest to you. I have not done a S/C upgrade on my 210 55 but if I did service close by would be a tipping point key consideration.

Nothing worse then having a really nice car, boat, motorcyle, airplane, or whatever... and have it need service due to performance upgrades with no where to turn for solutions.
