2000 E55 w/26k miles on ebay going 4 $43k!
I hope they are not loosing their value, but I wouldn't doubt it.
I got my 99' E55 3 months ago for 40K out the door with 18,500 miles and no accidents.
Wreck
there goes my idea of selling my car! I'm better off keeping it.
HHHHMmm wonder how much my 55 is worth?? 02 silver with no options and hardly any miles on it! LOL!
Sad but true
Best bet is to sell it privately to a kid with rich parents
I had great success selling my cars to kids who just got their license with loaded parents. I always get above blue book price.

Trading it in or selling it to a dealer, you will probably get more money if you put your car back to stock, raising the car, etc.

Kelley Blue Book has the trade in range on the 2000 E 55's between 41-51,000. So a buy at 43K is a good deal for the buyer certainly but not that unusual.

Kelley Blue Book (paperback) list 'aveage' car price ranges with no options.
www.kbb.com list the full retail value on that car as $64,775 with the options it had. www.nada.com list it as $65,875.
Therefore, $42k is a steal and very 'unusual'.
I searched for a used E55 for 10 months and never came across any car even close to the price. As a buyer I would love to have that deal and as a seller I would never have sold my car with a $23k discount under retail.

Here's the link dude for trade in values. I wasn't talking about retail but what your car is worth if you tried to get rid of it.
A buyer should always look at trade in value and work up from there rather than look at retail prices and work down.

The dealer in my area has been sitting on a 2002 E55 - Black with dark charcoal interior. I think it has K1, K2 and the NAV system. Very tempting but baby number three is coming this week so I can't focus on it just yet....

wow... OK, who gives me 45k for my 99 E55?

By the way E55 KEV....

Same reason that 2000 E55 sold for only $42k. The seller stated 4th kid on the way.

Hey Poch, with 2000 E55 with Nav & phone going for $42k you will have to settle for $37k.
