Hi everyone.. been checking this forum out since the past 4 days. I just bought an 05 e55.
Alrdy know bout the IC Pump problem.
My only question is..
besides the power getting cut off at different intervals, does the IC pump problem restrict u to reach high speeds? Does it cut off power at 4th gear at speeds of 110-120 mph ??

beside the pump problem the car is amazing.
Had bout 14 races alrdy and have three videos aswell. As soon as i learn how to post them up here u guys will def have fun.

The best race so far... me beating an auto c6 corvette twice! Racing from a 1st gear roll all the way till the end of third. I have this on video.

I wont discuss all the races i won as it would seem i am bragging.. so i will only post the ones i have video proof of. Here in Dubai the street racing scene is freakin crazy. I lived in houston, tx for 10 yrs. Now that i am here its a whole diff ball game.
On a regular weekday night u will see cars like SLRs , 599 ferraris, Porsche turbos , gallarado, etc etc... racing away. Its extremely crazy but i am glad i have a quick enough car to kick some major butt over here.

Sorry for the long ramble... just excited to join a car forum after ages. Last time i did that was back in 2002 when i had an acura type S in college at austin, tx.

Welcome, don't worry, if it's true and you can do it, it isn't bragging. We would love to hear how one of oour cars is ding in Dubai. In regards to the pump, see if there is a Kleemann dealer there and have them install one of their pumps.

it's a beautiful car...what's the used car prices like there? i know in HK new car is 2x the price of US due to tarriffs, so if you buy a 3 yr old car, it'll be 75% off the HK new price...what a nice deal, but apparently nobody likes to buy pre-owned.

btw, i've always been drawn to white, but for some reason the only pre-owned cars i've been able to find the past 10 yrs have mostly been silver (and i can't do black because i'm terrible at keeping it clean and w/o any finger prints).

so...what's the deal w/ all these MB's w/ white/tan or white/grey combo? i've always thought the white/blk combo was terrific - not sure why MB and even BMW and other hi end cars stopped selling that combo.

The car prices here r almost the same as they r in the US. They are left hand drives here. The only diff is all these cars come under the label "Gulf Spec" where they have upgraded Air cons and radiators. For ex, the ac temp in our cars here goes to 5 deg C.
And if anyone is coming down here to Dubai, throw me a mssg or somethin. I'll be happy to show u guys the Exotic car scene over here.

Be warned tho, if u r coming to Dubai, come without ur significant other... as the clubs r rockin and the women are extra hot and extra easy. ( sorry to all the females here )

Adam, let me know when u come here, will def meet up.
The mirrors fold when i lock the car. U can do it from the menu. Go to convinience and it will have the ' fold side view mirrors' listed there.
Will post pics of the interior soon.
