'01 E430 Sport

Where can i get the standard interior trim from E55's? (Black Birdseye Maple Wood)

i have an E430 Sport and i wanted to get the 'Black Birdseye Maple Wood Trim' to go well with my charcoal interior.

do any E55 owners want to trade to the regular wood trim?

Hey Dank,

I never thought about swtching but sounds like a good idea. I have 98 E430 Sport. Obsidian black with ash (grey) interior. I think the black birds eye maple would look real good--especially on yours with charcoal interior. What color is your E430? What did you get when you chose the Sport model. I always thought you got a little different suspension but I'm told they are the same as the regular E430.

Here's mine. Got any pics of yours?

'01 E430 Sport

nope, no different suspension.. i actually think that MB's "Sport Package" is most over priced of most of the manufacturer's. It's around $5K for new wheels, and body kit... and steering wheel. no suspension, nothing..

On our BMW 323ci, the Sport Package is around $1K and it includes sports suspensions (springs at least), better seats, steering wheel, wheels, etc.

Yea, a friend of mine has the CLK430, also with the Sport Package and he has the Birch wood in it.. It looks amazing..

i am going to contact MB and see how much the trim is, but if anyone has it, or wants to trade for the "regular" trim, let me know..

Try contacting Mr. Vanos, he should know where to get the Black Birdseye stuff. Probably cheaper than going to the dealer as well.
